Kevin Baughn and I opened Main Street Real Estate Company in September 2008.  But don't let that fool you.  Together we have over 14 years experience in real estate.  I worked for Kevin when I first started my real estate career and two years ago, we decided we should sell real estate together.   

 In addition to owning Main Street Real Estate, I am also a member of the Rockingham County Association of Realtors where I serve our industry on the Board of Directors, and the Greensboro Association of Realtors.  Stoneville, North Carolina is the place I call home and I love living here.

Stoneville is right in the middle of wonderful large cities.  Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, and Kernersville are all 20 to 30 minutes to the south and Martinsville, and Danville, Virginia are 20 to 30 minutes to our north.  Stoneville is located right on US 220 (future Interstate 73/74).  Can you blame me for wanting to live in a wonderfully small town where I have access to all the amenities the larger cities  have to offer?

I love this town so much that I recently decided to run for a town office.  I was elected to the Stoneville Town Council in November 2007 and elected by the board as Mayor Pro Tem.  Public office is harder than I thought it would it be, but I love being involved in our community and being a part of helping it grow and develope.  I am an advocate for healthy growth and responsible development.  In January 2009 I was inducted to the Economic Development Board as a director.  I look forward to work closely with county officials.

My husband Cliff is a Stoneville native and we love to shag dance.  That's how we met 14 years ago.  We have been married for 11 years and have 3 children.  Their names are Carmen (10), Cliff (8), and Danni (6).  Big Cliff runs our restaurant in Eden.  You guessed it - it's name is Cliff's Place.  His grandfather's name was Cliff and he ran a Cliff's Place restaurant in the 1950's.  We have the original restaurant sign hanging in our restaurant.  By the way - we have great homemade food!  We also teach shag lessons.  Contact us to see when our next class begins.  It's great exercise and fellowship.

I have been a stay at home mom (domestic engineer) for over 10 years now and have loved every minute of it.  While my youngest daughter has been getting ready for her debut in kindegarten I have busily been obtaining my real estate license, broker license, and other designations that would make me a better REALTOR to my clients and community.  

Like I said earlier, I love my community so I have been president of the Western Rockingham Junior Service League, Vice President of the Stoneville Elementary School PTA, the Stoneville Elementary School Leadership Team,  chairperson of Fundraising for Stoneville Elementary School, Stoneville Youth Sports Program volunteer and coach.  Yes, I have officially become a soccer mom.  I coach precious 4,5,6, and 7 year olds in a soccer league here in Stoneville.  I also coach a girls softball team, in the spring and summer.

My family and I attend Stoneville First Baptist Church where my husband is a Deacon and I am the Youth Choir director.  No, I can't sing, I can direct.  We also serve on the Youth Activites committee and I serve on the Personnel and Nominating committee.
